Has anybody ever listened to the Left Rights … its Mindless Self Indulgence fuckin about after days being locked in a recording studio and it’s fuckin hillarious, if you like funny music bout the most stupid crap you gotta listen to it .. then again … why not jsut go out and buy all the MSI discography too … it fuckin rules
I have to admit, Mortal Kombat is a game I always loved…the fatalities were immense and I loved the game… I was never majorly into the DC Universe though, but this game could change all that.
2 totally different worlds, 2 different powers going head to head … the brutallity of the MK team and then the super powers of the DC’s .. it’s gonna be cool but with a few little problems they gonna have to think through first really in my eyes.
Firstly … how is anyone gonna kick the shit outta Superman, I mean … nothin will harm him in an MK way I really can’t wait to see an explaination to that one
Secondly, if Mortal Kombat has the fatalities … (assuming that they’re still going to be incorporated into the game) then what are the DC Characters gonna have, I admit I’m not fucked either way whether fatalities are there cause the game looks epic as it stands, for a fighting game, its looking like it’ll rank pretty highly .. but still not be magnificent, but hey … what game is … other than the obvious ones, Ocarina of Time and Mario 64 … o and GTA IV too … prob the 3 best games ever … but then, none of them are fighting … Worlds Collide (the well thought up title for this beast) is … and to be honest, I can see it giving Soul Calibur a run for its money
If I could be arsed to write more about this I really would, but for some reason, I’ve lost interest half way through writing it and I just wanna drink, so am gonna get a lager and then probably start blabbering bout something else
Right I promised a couple new posts today to try make up for falling behind a bit so heres a couple…this is just a little ramble so don’t worry it doesnt count.
For some reason my stuff about games seems to be rather popular lol … I’ve had a couple hundred hits alone on one of them and frankly I was quite shocked at that so thank you very much, reviews / previews always do well … specially if its a big name game, but I wasn’t expecting that so thank you readers for reading it.
Anyway, I just got back from Blockbuster …. spent a massive 35 quid on 11 dvds … not bad if i do say so … am a little bit of a DVD nut, in one trip to HMV I came out with 4 bags full and a backpack full of DVDs from a sale … there was about 50 or so new ones … only cost me like 140 or sumat too … i love it wen theres real cheap dvd sales on and you can get em for like 2 or 3 quid, cause although occasionally I’ll download em, I always prefer owning the proper ones and will 95% of time buy the one I downloaded a couple weeks later anyway, its usually if its something I’ve seen a trailer for and am a bit .. hmmm duno whether to or not … over it then al download it and usually know within bout half hour
Only movie I downloaded and aint bought yet is Juno … cause anywhere I go its fukin sold out and I really liked that movie … it was different … it wasn’t anything like I was expecting, but it was totally great.
Anyway, enough, onto the proper schnizzle

Welcome to lessons in life, I’ve messed mine up a hell of alot in the past, so I thought I’d give some people some great pieces of advice that will hopefully aid at least 1 person into not bein a twat like me and doing something stupid.
Reading Festival 200…..5 i think – Stay away from drugs ……… lmao … as if you’d listen to that … ok how bout dont abandon those you care for
As you can imagine – ace music festival therefore music drink, drugs, sex …. WRONG
I went with a good mate Sez (Sarah Louise Parkins … i think … i suck with names), she wanted me lol, n i thought she was hot … was sharing a sleepin bag etc… so things probably would have happened … until I wondered off with sum people I knew from uni and spent the day with them over Sez… all cause one of them (so I thought) was a sure thing … I was later to find out otherwise … but I ended up growing to REALLY REALLY !! like this gal and we’re still good mates today and coincidently…her name is also Sarah…Sarah something or another. Anyway, thats straying off the story, me doing that pissed off my mate Sez and she ended up going home and we haven’t spoken since, and she was probably my best friend at the time … I spent most that weekend with Sarah and her mate Naomi (who I knew from uni) … and with Nai and Fluffy (fluffy was a housemate of mine at uni and a great guy, nai was his gal n i loved her to bits …. they’re engaged to be married … am so happy for em ).
But anyway, when was with Sarah and Naomi … we got upto a little mischief … drinkin lots … fooling about and doing a few little drugs … namley mdma, coke and ketamine (I aint proud of it this is part of what the lesson revolves around), we mixed them all along with shots of whatever we could find, and weed where we got any. I was fine until I sunday … and by god it hit me so bad then … we were walking into the arena after a pretty big line of the 3 of em mixed and I was shaking, almost in tears, holding onto people to stop myself from what I thought was floating away, when really I was fine just tripping to hell.
For those of you that don’t know … theres a metal walkway over the really boggy, heavily used parts of the festival field … namely the main roads of the campsite … walking over there after that combo near killed me. I was out for the complete Iggy Pop set (no great loss) and mosta Maidens (other than a couple songs I got up to headbang too but felt so bad afterwards).
If I could go back … then without a doubt, I’d have no abandoned my dear friend and not done the drugs either (well maybe a couple … not as many as i did thou) … and I’d still have one of the best friends I ever had in my life … I could tell her anything and she never judged me … jus that pushed it a little too far.
I guess all I’m tryin to say is although that kinda atmosphere is a thrill, and its a chance to experiment and fuck about, be careful you really don’t piss off those you truly care bout at the same time, I did, and it backfired on me.
Fluffy and Nai and still good mates with, Naomi … I haven’t spoken to her for years, same with Sez … Sarah I only just properly started talking to again over past couple weeks as well … I missed her like … and I miss Sez too… she was cool.
Anyway, I know its random and miles off shit I normally write, but hey .. its something people can learn from… I’m gonna write something proper in a little bit … just gonna add a couple new contributions to a site I’m working on first, then I’ll get onto adding a nice new blog … was thinking of just something a little lighter then this one … how bout er … I know … we’ll preview a couple games, a couple random questions I want peoples thoughts on, review a movie and I don’t know what else … probably do it when I get in tonight … but gonna write some shit laters fo’sure
